This is the landing point for those undertaking the Strategic Design Thinking module, it is a core point of collaboration for students on the MSc Design Ethnography, Master of Service Design and MSc Product Design.
Innovation in business is dependent on building a competitive portfolio of product offerings; in other parts of society innovation is equally important to create services and systems that fulfil stakeholder needs. This module aims to build understanding of the frameworks & methods needed to support innovation and the key role played by design thinking in leading and facilitating this process. This module provides an opportunity to reflect on our understanding of what design thinking is and how practitioners may wish to engage with design thinking in the future.
